Lee Yoo-jin's (199cm, F) dunk show heated up Olympic Park.

Yonsei University easily advanced to the final tournament as No. 1 in Group A with three consecutive wins in the fourth week of the 2024 Korea 3x3 All-Pak Tour held at the 3x3 Olympic Park in Seoul on the 11th.

Yonsei University brought in lower grade players including Lee Ju-young, Lee Hae-sol, Kim Seung-woo, and Lee Yoo-jin. Most of them were new to the sport, but they didn't need time to adjust to the new sport. Yonsei easily defeated its opponents in its own style, which resulted in a three-game winning streak.

First-year Lee Yoo-jin repeatedly showed off his tremendous athletic ability and actively participated in the rebound to energize the team.

The alley-oop dunk in the second game against Chung High School was a highlight. When Lee Yoo-jin was ready to run, Kim Seung-woo correctly scored a pass. Lee Yoo-jin jumped over his opponent and hit an alley-oop dunk.
Lee Yoo-jin fired a one-handed dunk even in a fast attack situation. These were wonderful scenes where he felt his athletic ability and spirit that were different from those of Yongsan High School.

When Lee Yoo-jin performed dunk shooting performance, the stadium was heated up with shouts that seemed to leave. Yonsei players, who were watching the game from the stands, also performed a ceremony and cheered.

"It's my first time playing 3x3 (laughs). It's fun. I think it was a good time to boost my stamina and get the hang of it," Lee said.

When asked what was the most important part of 3x3, he said, "Fast counterattacks seem to be important. Since we have to rebound or lose a point and then go to the outside to start the attack, it is important to quickly remove the ball and counterattack," adding, "We can utilize more space as only six players can play. I think the proportion of two-point shots is quite high. We have a lot of good players in our team, but we had a lot of shots, so we could easily win."

On the situation of dunking, he said, "I've always had good chemistry with (Kim). It's fun to play basketball outside in cool weather for the first time in a while. I will continue to show many performances that fans will enjoy."

The All-Pak Tour is the first step toward selecting players for the 2026 Aichi and Nagoya Asian Games. In particular, it can be a good opportunity for elite university athletes to be selected for the national team. 스포츠토토

Lee Yoo-jin said, "If I have a chance, I want to try to be a member of the 3x3 national team. I think it will be fun."
After completing their regular matches and regular league schedules, Yonsei players took a week-long vacation. Team training in preparation for the playoffs begins on Wednesday.

Lee Yoo-jin said, "I don't want to be complacent just because I won the regular match, and I want to continue the good atmosphere. Personally, I had a lot of minor injuries this year and I had a lot of regrets. Team training starts from Saturday, December 12, and I want to take good care of myself and show better performance in the playoffs."
